My wife and I are white middle aged. Both of us are of European ancestry.
My neighbors to the north are white elderly.
My neighbor to the south is a Korean widow.
My neighbors diagonally south across the street were a white gay couple - they recently moved, not sure who is moving in but I know the house has been sold.
Neighbor directly across the street is a black, Jehovah's witnesses couple. They are renters. Not sure who owns the house these days.
Neighbors diagonally to the north are a black couple.
Neighbors 2 houses to the North are a Vietnamese family, I do not know them very well yet.
I do not know the exact make up of the rest of my street. It is a pretty good mix though.
I do not have neighbors behind me. I have a golf course there. Don't get the idea that I am in a rich type neighborhood. The course is public. The houses on the Golf Course side of the street are appraised about 10-20k above the ones on the other side of the street. Most of the people in the neighborhood are blue collar or low end white collar.
I associate with all my immediate neighbors on a regular basis.
