The post I made the other day about the liberal numbskull needing to run a gofundme to pay his property taxes is exactly why big cities will continue to decline. These cities have over taxed so much it makes zero sense to purchase property there.. A $180k house with a $700 a month tax burden.. It's no fucking wonder why the man can't pay it.. It's a fucking mortgage note in taxes. The price of that home is going to do nothing but decline in the future because the city is just going to keep on jacking the tax up. That's why you can buy homes in these cities ALL DAY LONG for nothing.. Because the tax is too high.

Many of those big cities you mentioned are in Red states that have pushed wages down.. Miami, Memphis, ATL, Cincinnati. They are Republican controlled states and all have very low wages.. Just because its a big city doesnt make it rich.. They have not created a solid economic circle because the wages are low in these areas which means the people living in these areas have less disposable income which means less taxes are collected to create better living conditions..
Its not about high taxes creating this "rich state wealth" its people making and spending money..
Example, back a long time ago I used to drive forklifts. I could go almost anywhere in MA or CT where I lived at the time and get a job with starting pay around $18/hr. Go to Tx or FL and the same job they pay people $8 and change.. Living in MA or CT was not any more expensive for me than living in FL meaning I could pocket $10/hr more so why would I stay in FL?
This is what young people look at and see.. why stay in a shit hole state and work for shithole wages when you can go elsewhere and double your income doing the same job.. The only people who stay are those who cant leave..
There is a reason why if you go to the southren states you see pawn shops and payday loan stores on every corner there isnt a church or a liquor store... Its because wages are low.. You dont see that shit in places like MA or CT as example..
