Clinton won the popular vote, which is meaningless legally but indicates she was a viable candidate. I think the way the DNC treated Sanders supporters turned a lot of them off democrats. They say Sanders supporters who voted for Trump put him over in each of the three states he won by small margins.
Also she tried identity politics, which is not going to work, in hindsight, for any white candidate.

I predicted she was out before the primaries started. she never had a chance. a big part of that was her tone deaf campaign and puppet master manipulation of the DNC.
