If that has ANYTHING to do with Ben McGill forget it - it's a rip off.
They had their gateway working for 2 weeks couple of monthes ago or less ,done merchant accounts there for people which were supposed to be adult and havent payed a penny yet.
Now they just fuck with You for weeks collecting Your turnover details, stats , applications and so on but in the end they dont give anything - they just loose Your time cause they dont have a single bank to work with.
If You want to know the truth , all this stuff about MINIMUM 100K for Your offshore account is fucking bullshit.
None of the ISOs (middle men guys like Netbilling) have a single bank offshore or in Europe to work with adult at the moment.
There are exceptions but they wont suit 99% of webmasters here.
They all used to work in Germany with PAGO and EBS-AG and that's how the whole legeng about European high volume adult merchant accounts appeared (EBS was a reseller of PAGO for adult merchant accounts, PAGO is a joint venture between DeutscheBank and some trade company in Germany, so when somebody tells You something about adult merchant accounts in DeutscheBank they mean PAGO) but PAGO doesnt give any adult merchant accounts any longer for 3 monthes already or even more. EBS is rumoured still to be able to do something for adult somewhere in Israel but I yet have to see a single living soul who got anything working there yet.
So what all these resellers do right now is they simply collect Your applications for future use. They tell You got to have 100K for offshore or Europe so it will simply seem that they have something but it's just You dont qualify YET.
Which is SOOOO funny...Cause if You got more they will tell You You need 1 million USD turnover for some SPECIAL bank they wont name and guess what if You have 1 million..... :-) they will tell You that the bank software is not ready or something like that and I even heard once about a bank which deals with 4 million per month only (my guess is that when You got 4 million per month turnover they will deal with 8 million per month turnover only ).
They are all more or less the same. There are around 30 or so resellers for adult merchant accounts lurking there over the internet.
Best one is definitely Netbilling cause they dont give You 90% of this bullshit and more less have straight business.
The absolutely worst one is Ben McGill , e-commerceservices.co.uk or something like that. Stay as far away from this fuck as possible.
He is probably a previous corporate employee and therefore in the beginning seems very professional for unexperienced webmasters with NDAs he sends, PreQualify teams he uses and so on...
This smart fuck will collect 500 papers from You before he'll tell You that You dont qualify which is very ugly because due to the large and professional team we have we managed to collect all possible and impossible papers there and in the end they had simply no reason at all to decline (Probably a surpise for them as well
, I dont think anybody else could collect all those papers, normally You get declined for example if You dont have a EU presence, or small volume as I mentioned or lack of business plan or bank reference or something like it, they keep asking for papers untill You get lost in it, I got at least half a dozen of friends all over the world who are still running around collecting more papers for Ben) and we were really pissed off collecting all that shit cause I felt it on the third day already (it took 2 weeks in total) that these guys dont have a shit behind them ... in the end they declined us for....high chargeback ratio.
That is kinda fun because we have one of lowest chargeback ratios (proven fact) in the industry on the kind of volume we run and an excellent transaction history...
So I took my time and found 2 guys who as I heard worked ALREADY with Ben before. It has turned out that he still owes them shit load of money and his "Romanian" merchant accounts worked as long as 2 weeks or something before they were shut off and were not payed a single penny.
I guess this hard fuck will get a "russian" visit sooner or later for such practices.
I'll be personally delighted to kill that piece of shit just for the time I lost on him.
