Attacking someone for having a different point of view is a mistake because you won't get to learn about them and understand where their point of view comes from. While its true that some libbies do this, it's just as true that some, I would argue most, righties do this.

No thats a mistake. If someone hates someone else just because they are different religion or color or sex, that's a hate monster. Someone with a different opinion is just someone with a different opinion.

I'll agree with you on that, but I'd like to add something:
1. We libbies were shocked, and still are shocked, that he won. We can't get over it, I can't get over it.
2. The fact that he is making things so much worse is now what makes people like me upset. True some people see things as getting better, but I see other things getting worse.

This is really interesting. Again, I'm not joking around here. From my Libby point of view, I see right wing news outlets like Fox manipulating stories, reporting things in slanted ways, editing the truth etc, in order to make their viewers believe things that are not true, or completely true.
You seem to be saying the exact same thing about left-leaning media (like, I will assume, CNN and MSNBC).
How do we solve this?
You believe X Y and Z, and you believe that the source, Fox News, is telling you the truth. I believe A, B and X and believe that MSNBC is telling me the truth.
If we attack each others beliefs, AND the trust in our own sources of our beliefs are unwavering, how the hell do we get to the real truth of any thing?
