This is what really scares me. I have no problem with people disagreeing, or voting with a different party from me, but I do find it alarming that so many people are willing to throw out evidence that doesn't suit them. I DO think this is far worse on the right - Trump outright bashes the media as "the enemy of the people", which, no matter how you vote, is truly disturbing. He has no problem doing this to government institutions like the FBI when it serves his purpose.
The exact same thing with Kavanaugh's testimony: Why is it OK for him to promote conspiracy theories against himself with absolutely no evidence?
