an apple has 2g of fiber per 100g...there is no way that just 2 grams can slow down the intake of the other 98 grams 4x....it can slow it down a bit, but not significantly...fiber is not an active substance, it just increases the viscosity of intestinal contents a bit...
I think the 4x figure is fake science, or at least it sounds like fake science sponsored by a group with interests....
