The water doesn't go bad... The plastic bottles start breaking down in the sun. They then release chemicals into the water that cause cancer...

Ie the expiration date on bottled water is not for the water but for the plastic bottles..

Example I have a water bottle in my hand right now with a exp date of 1/19.. That's less than 4 months and I just bought it.

Those water bottles have been sitting at least a year on top of the last 9 months were in the sun/heat.. Its bad because the bottles are deteriorating..

Its called BPA, you know science stuff that you would like...
