I have a few ideas for plugins. Most are available in part of another plugin, but I want just a part of a plugin:

1. Visitors: I had this written for me as a one sentence or two sentence script Output was something like— 2468.domainname.com came from 1357.domainname.com and visited 1234.domainname.com/index.html, /home.html, /contact.html, etc

This way, if I found one IP referrer sent a hundred people to/plugins/plugin1/ I’d know Plugin1 had a backdoor or exploit. If numerous IPs visited /page.html I’d look at that code to see if there was a hack, exploit, bouncer or something else .

It would start a new log at midnight and reset in 24 hours. Saves to /logs and emailto: me

Basically it’s web stats but condensed so I know where each visitor came from, went to and their IP. Currently stats show that but not specific for each IP.

My script was php but was converted to a plugin

2. Reverse IP. I’d login and check ReverseIP then /list. I’d view

donaldtrump.aol.com. 123.45.6789
nudes.pamwinternudes.com 246.810.2345
Donnyosmond.sexy.com. 987.654.3210

Then, /findout Enter IP:
Click Submit:
Reverse IP is :

Then, /visitors. People viewing this page: IP listing

3. 404: 404 report: visitors tried to view /whatever they typed to get 404

4. IP ban: Enter numerical IP:
Length of ban in minutes:
List of choices to check off: 60. 120. 180. 240. 1440. (Etc. Week, month, year or permanent)
Reason: _________________________ internal use only in log

IP is written to .htacess in proper format . If simple to code, have it email me a confirmation. I know this is tricky. I used it for years and edited something. I left out a space and Site was broken for hours. If .htaccess breaks, your site usually dies, but the error notice might not tell you what is broken, and you spend panicked hours looking when your programmer will know immediately that it’s .htaccess

I had these on 50+ blogs ten years ago. Even if I could access them, they’re written for versions ten years ago so they’d need to be redone.

Code, I’ll test them, then you can offer them for free, for sale or for a link back. I’m sure others with busy sites would test as well. If they have a bot net attacking and the IP banner has a default setting***, how much until it breaks. You want to see the threshold in case a huge botnet attacks. Some hosts can’t handle the load so you can have them increase the limits or set a specific numbers or visitors, like 10 at a time doing commands.

*** default setting could be automatically ban the IP for 24 hours under auto set : attack or autonset:= whatever. That way if you’re unavailable and an attack begins, you’re protected. I run scripts to auto ban but maybe you can suggest they install a script rather than adding the auto ban into your script
