I don't know if Trump will be removed from office or not, but it seems to me a lot of people around him are either being found guilty of a felony or pleading guilty to a felony. This is investigation is just starting. Over sixty people were found guilty or plead guilty during Watergate, which went on for six years. Every time we turn around someone else is guilty. Trump can resign in the morning, but the investigation will still go on. Nothing will stop it.

Here is how I see this playing out....

Midterms are going to see the Democrats take over.
Trump will either serve out his term or be impeached
Once Trump is out of office, he will be indicted

One way or another they are going to nail Trump to the wall.
I fairly well agree, but understand 2 things.
Trump can protect himself best by staying in office, so resignation is probably out unless something is about to break that is just totally devastating and they give him the out to save the country embarrassment.

The republicans have been busy pushing through all legislative wants since they know he is unlikely to for-fill a full term. They prefer the 25th amendment to keep this in check while they get what they want in legislation. A nasty disruption would delay it till after 2020 if they keep majority. To many if's. They simply want their agenda and are unlikely to do anything. You are seeing evidence of that in Woodward's book.

So, I know the blame game will have a new round with the republican's blaming trump, but they had a opportunity and made their choices and are as much at fault.

The republicans will figure out their options after the mid-terms and pick a path but for now, it's stay the course and get their agenda through.
It will take the next administration 3 terms to undo many of the things they have done in 2 years. Many of their reversals were fights that took 6,8,12 years or more to get some regulation in there in the first place. Sessions and others are making sure it will be tough to undo. Even though I find it all distasteful, it has been a very smart set of plays on their part.
