I used to buy backlinks on linksmanagement.com but it was just like I was throwing money away. I found a deal on WarriorForum with a guy having dozens of porn sites with high pagerank, who offered some backlinks in exchange of a low monthly fee. I began receiving natural traffic thanks to this, and I'm still affording it monthly today.
But apart from that, I did not find any reliable place to buy or exchange backlinks, which is particularly difficult when your website still has low traffic and low pagerank.
Internally, I took care of HTML semantics (title, h1s, keywords, video descriptions, ...) and put every video in rich snippets, and submitted multiple sitemaps in Google Webmaster Console.
