Either I didn't explain myself sufficiently or this is too complicated for you. I said "traditionally" because grammar rules change over the years. It used to be that "they" was an incorrect singular pronoun, nowadays it's accepted. But what I'm talking about our some writers not using gender-neutral pronouns (they, their, them) but specifically using "she" which I have seen a lot.
