I found a great gateway but gee, you must do $2,000/month, beginning on day one. Others charge per month. Jumping through hoops with a broken leg would be easier.

PayPal and AuthorizeNet are built into Magento. CCBill has a free gateway for Magento. I've tested CCBill on both Magento 1 and 2.
