Because two girls getting together are generally consider less offensive. Personally, I do not encourage either - but that is the fact.
For example, heterosexual males and heterosexual females (not to mention some/most homosexual females) generally find it offensive to see two men going each other up the ass.
This is opposed to lesbian relations, where heterosexual males and a significant proportion of heterosexual women general do not find it very offensive.
Basically, the dominant discourse, whether it is through the media, the internet, or in the home, tends to lead more people to accept homosexual female relations than homosexual male relations.
Personally though, I find homosexuality of any kind rather degenerate
