pr = page rank - the way google values a single page (webdocument not website)
its going from 0-10 and actually is like a voting for a page:
the more page link to another page the higher the pagerank of the receiving page becomes
the measure is quality and quantity: if a page with high pr links to you then more likely your page will receive a high ranking as well.
2Xpr2 is not pr4
think of pr like (this is not really what the numbers look like only google knows):
pr 1 = 1
pr 2 = 10 (links to you)
pr3 = 100
pr4 = 1000
pr5 = 10000
pr6 = 100000
...
now you know no one wanted to talk about this, but since it is not working anymore....
