As we all know, no one is better informed about another country than those who don't even live in the same hemisphere on the planet as that country.
if anyone was sitting here lecturing you about Australia, you'd be busy telling them that they don't know what they're talking about... but like you, they could just sit back and smugly inform you that they've watched Crocodile Dundee and Mad Max and used to listen to Men at Work and seen quite a few Mel Gibson interviews, so you'll just have to accept their unbiased and well informed view of your nation, it's culture, it's economy, it's elections and system of government and how it operates.
and some people "given the info they have" see the world as being flat.... so not a great argument to rest on when you sit in judgement of others.
