The situation seems like a case of a super big dickhead being right... but it was the super huge dickhead part coming back on him. I'm too lazy to investigate the backstory but it all seems a little too neat and clean and perfectly Orwellian to be exactly what people are saying it is.

The EDL are very controversial to say the least - They have a reputation for being a 'bunch of thugs'...
From what I have read in this thread it seems he was on a suspended sentence - So he was not given 13 months for taking the video but for whatever he did before.....
