disney is just doubling down because they took heavy criticism for having more female leads and using more ethnicities. I didn't have an issue with it before but this is getting out of hand. this is aiming for a market that does not exist because star wars has always been universal and not sexualized in any way.
Oh and this is not partisan in the least, this is about making movies shitty. Less story driven and more about ideological views. I don't see them doing this with the marvel movies.
