The chemo helped & originally worked, 3 years later, my mother come home from hospital, even a holiday to Turkey 3 years ago. However, Sadly, after chemotherapy, the red and white cells, everything in the body is weakened & this continues to another stage, itīs all from the cancer, blood transfusions are needed & plateletes. The cells in the body are ruined, but without the chemo, My mother could have died 5 or 6 years ago, so we, my family and I are pleased we had more time with her. The last month was awful, all bedside at my fathers & her home. Nothing else to be done, although, when I heard she had only a week to live, we flew back the next day, and stayed. My mother continued with such strength, 3 weeks later, finally passed away hand in hand with my father, after literally all my sisters, Gary, my uncle & auntie all bed side the night before.
I do recommend chemo, although an emotional ride & itīs going to change your life, probably for the better, at least giving you more time to be with family. Cancer is definitely the worst, and I seriously wouldnīt wish it on any body
