I'm not sure how Boneprone is doing but I'm going to try to visit him in Portland as soon as I wrap up some things here...
Anyway -- I hope there's no bitter competition over this BP4L stuff... I get asked all the time what it means, and I usually tell people straight out, even though I think the mystique is pretty cool.
The Boneprone Family is a rebirthing of consciousness unto a realm beyond the walk and the talk, beyond the sands of time and space, and into the hands of binary companionship, holding the answers and washing the questions in glistening streams of unison -- all linked together by the sweet clicking beat of the Nectar of the Bone.
I wrote that when I was living in LA -- off the top of my head... But if you read it carefully it's not a bunch of bullshit. BP4L is first about friendship -- not dick sucking. Nobody in BP4L owes anybody anything. We do our own thing -- that's we are in this business after all in the first place, right? To be your own boss. This biz has taken a huge chunk out of our lives -- over the years simple ICQ messages have blossomed into real friendships and respect that's not based on money but on recognizing "cool" people that have their personal shit in working order.
One thing you'll notice is that BP4L guys are never stabbing each other in the back or fighting about shit amongst themselves -- that's because there's trust -- and not trust based on "what's in *my* best interest", but trust that's based on friendship... I'll tell you how I choose my friends -- I choose to be friends with good people. Good people don't fuck you over -- it's simple. So in a nutshell that's my explanation of the Boneprone Family. Everyone in the family can put their own spin on it. Anyway it's trust and respect and friendship...

good stuff there Fly.... I hope bone is okay. He's been MIA for quite a while. If you do see him, pass that along. He is missed here.
