I think not. The country will not amend the 2nd Amendment at this point and probably never will, so until then there will be an NRA. There are other things that can be done to protect schools though and there are other things that can be done in the mental illness area also. These things will cost money and until congress gets serious about this matter and appropriates the monies there will not be much done, but the shootings are taking place so frequently hopefully they will wake up and do their job.
