good to hear from you guys while abroad happy to see the board is still somewhat active. for the record most thais would prefer a white/lightskinned/bleached thai like whats on all their billboards, kind of like how black americans would prefer a redbone over a blonde hands down. basically everyone wants a lighter/lightest version of what their familiar with worldwide. same in indonesia, phillipines, just whatevers on tv or billboards. they wonder why us foreigners go for the browner/darker ones they think we're nuts. the soapy places patronized by japanese/indians/koreans have only the whitest of the white for the local asians. das racist. but its reality and you cannot reprogram the worlds way of thinking all in one swoop
