My guess it that they discussed back channels so the Russian government could communicate directly with the Trump people.
They are lying about the contents of the meeting, the FBI knows exactly what happened at the meeting, and they released this information today so that when the truth comes out right before the mid terms it will be plain they lied.

It was exactly what it is. The Obama admin allowed this Russian lawyer into the US under special circumstances for this very purpose.. To have this "meeting" and add to their false "Russia collusion" BS story.. This coupled with their using the other Russian who worked with Mueller for years to hand off the BS dossier to McCain. It's all a total setup by Obama/Hillary and co and every single player involved including those two should be hung on the White House lawn and their bodies left to decompose.
