you may complain that these stats dont work etc. but they do work.
let me reprase my comparision then if you dont believe in "stats"
what can you buy for an average salary in Stockholm, Helsinki and St. Petersburg ? which country has the highest level of life for the "average" people ? I think that the answer will be obvious here...
You have similar prices of food, clothes, electronics to the west and you get few times less of salary - on average. The only things that you pay less are services (car mechanic?) and sometimes rent, especially- not-in-Moscow.
so how living in RUS- land is better than living in Scandinavia or some of the PIGS countries ?
Unless you are fucking Lenin from mausoleum that loves 0 degrees Celsius all the time ?
or IT specialist or Gazprom Bonzo ? they dont matter, as they are fine anywhere.

In Russia, money in country divides not like in democratic countries. Majority country wealth takes Putin's regime(politicians, criminals, and power structures all with IQ 20 but they have weapon) and he pays minimal wages near $150 per month. 22 million peoples live less than 150 per month and 38 million people don't have an official job. But GDP PPP in Russia $ 27 000 per capita. About tax will talk later, low taxes it lies too
