Just as briefly I can. Bear with me I dont post much here.
Man the world is fucked up, no doubt. Since the end of the cold war, the world has become a global place and multiculturalism in the west it could be said is a failure. Globalisation has marginalised people and created a huge divide between rich and poor and an underclass of young people that feel totally disenfranchised.
Im not being a liberal or condoning behaviour. Just simply stating a rationale as to why some of what goes on in the world, including radicalisation, maybe goes on.
Saying all that, the chances of you being killed by a terrorist are practically zero.
People if they are. Need to stop worrying. (I do understand the anger and frustration though. Why should we put up with it? But thats a different story and conversation).
In 2015, there were an average of 36 gun murders per day in the US (from what ive read).
So in fact, that WORLDWIDE islamic terrorism has probably killed LESS people so far this year !
So no matter how you look at it, on a personal safety issue. You are far more at risk from your fellow American's than you are from Islamic terrorism. Statistically as the US only accounts for 5% of the worlds population. You could argue your over 20 times more likely to be victim of a gun murder on US soil than a victim of an islamic terrorist.
The difference is perhaps, that in the US, you have become desensitised to the gun murders and violence every single day, that it just seems normal.
Additionally, the vast majority of these gun murders and mass shootings are not by muslims but by people that would affiliate with Christianity (if you asked them to pick a religion).
People from Islamic backgrounds or countries i know, say they are 'Muslim'. Doesn't mean they pray 5 times a day, goto the mosque and read the Qur'an etc. Same with the VAST majority of 'Christians' I know. They don't attend church and pray or read the bible. They most likely went (probably forced) to Sunday school a couple of times and sung a few hymns at school!
There are far more dangerous and deadly things going on in the world than Islamic terrorism (the numbers speak for themselves). Ignorance and the inability to think for ones own self are just two of those things (not pointing the finger at you, or anyone else here).
Im not saying there is not a problem and its not getting worse right now, but I just wish people wouldnt be so easily lead into only one way of thinking, rather than being open minded etc.
The establishments want everyone fighting with each other. It helps with misdirection and control. And, Just look at how many freedoms US citizens has lost since 9/11, including your lack of privacy, reduction in due process and rights. One could argue those attacks on your constitutional rights are worst than the terror attacks themselves!
It is all part of the plan and its working very well.
