McCain was my Senator when I lived in Arizona. I liked him - he had balls. He went to Vietnam - as a US Senator - and called them "gooks". He said "I hate gooks". He was tortured as a POW and no matter what anyone said he stood his ground and refused to take back the comment.

McCain lost my respect, however, when he picked Palin was a running mate.

I can honestly say I wish the man luck. He's lived an incredible life.
