It would have been reasonable to assume if you had approached the situation with caution knowing you were getting a biased perspective from the previous owners who might not be telling you the whole story. Instead, you lash out with a pompous attitude and talk arrogantly as if you know for sure what went on, not as a third party who has heard 2 differing views on what transpired. Just give up the charade already.
