you go in the water your dead, about 20 meters off it drops 200 meters BUT.. and this is all important.. very good whitebaiting.
I used to go whitebaiting in Karitane at the mouth of the Waikouaiti - The fear of imminent death is nothing if there is a chance for some whitebait patties at the end of the day.....
