Not all Muslims are bad, hate Jews or preach rebellion. My doctor, 50-ish, from Iran and is gay. Not openly but he tells those he trusts. He treated me absolutely great and I asked him if treating a Jew is against his beliefs. People are people, he said. He's been judged for being gay so he won't judge a Jew.
He told me as I mentioned I'd love to spend a week on the Cape. Told him where I stay usually but said I'd stayed in Ptown several times at a friend's house. He asked if I was lesbian but I explained the friends were gay men. He shared that he and his husband had a house there, too
Quite religious, too. American husband, Christian, but they respect each other's beliefs.
Growing up, our neighbors were Muslim. Came here from Iraq to work at a hospital. Yes an anesthesiologist and she's already pharmacist.
