(Forgot to add that that domain was hosting some common files for multiple domains. Not 100% crucial and defaulting to its IP address was automatic, but it was still useful and in use.

There was definitely a grace period, but honestly I was just stupid and missed it completely. It's totally my fault for not staying on top of this.
