I don't believe the investigation is too wide. First, in order to see if there was collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, we need to look at everyone involved in the Trump campaign. That's hundreds of people. We have to look at their financial records because somewhere along the line if there was any kind of collusion money must have traded hands. When an investigation uncovers a crime, it gets prosecuted. It hardly matters what the original crime was. If you get pulled over for speeding and they find a portable meth lab in your trunk, you get arrested for the drugs. That is exactly how an investigation works.
Where do get it was obvious Trump didn't collude with the Russian government? The Russian government reached out and said "We have dirt on Hillary" and top three people at the Trump campaign took the meeting. We have Carter Page who was telling people the Russians had the DNC emails before anyone in the United States knew the DNC was hacked. Jeff Sessions met with the Russian ambassador three times in secret without telling anyone at the State Department. This is just the start - I could go on. Seems the NRA is involved also - They are investigation because it seems Russia funneled tens of billions of dollars to the NRA, which lead them to contribute more to Trump's campaign than any other presidential candidate ever... BY FAR.
It's stunning you see "no collusion" while I see collusion every time I turn around.
