About 10 years ago I think there was as story of a man who had the flesh-eating disease in his face and was told that they would have to remove his nose and the top half of his mouth or it would kill him.
While in surgery doctors found that the disease had spread to his eyes and they had no choice but to remove them too.
Just imagine this this poor son of a bitch. He went to sleep knowing he would be disfigured for the rest of his life, and when he woke up he was fucking blind on top of that.
This kind of thing and what that poor girl did to herself is the stuff of nightmares to me.
