there is nothing stopping people from building homes if the government starts building them as well...all your arguments above are invalid...the gov does not even have to build it it can sub contract private companies to build it...
if the USA spent 600 billion/year on building homes instead of """"""""""""defense""""""""""" it could make 6 million homes/year at 100K/apartment and give it to people who are struggling...their quality of life would improve and their disposable income would skyrocket instead of having to pay parasites like you...
even if its 3 million homes/year it would make a massive contribution to your economy in 10 years time...ALL americans would be better off and not just the ones with money...
as for people with retirement plans this is a bullshit point its not like 1000million homes would be dumped on the market in one day...3 million homes spread across the USA in one year given to low income families would not dent the speculation bubble too much...make the government homes not for sale or rent, just for living...
