he is actually very funny...
in another interview he goes into detail about the grenade that blew up in the sand next to him. when it landed he started counting seconds, he threw it back at 2 sec and they tossed right back at 4 seconds so he tossed back at them at 6 seconds and the fucking thing came back at 8 seconds and he thought fuck it gotta blow up by now... and rolled always exposing his back...
then he talks about the swim... he swam out and the ship turned and left... he said 'well if you have to die, the best place is in the arms of your buddies' and then he swam, with his buddies held close for 3 hours until a search ship came by
