Well said Peter. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Kevin but August seemed really happy she was with Kevin, so I echo the same sentiments, if a nice girl like August married him, he must be a swell guy as well. We certainly need to stop the bullying in our industry, it's bad enough the rest of society have this negative stigma about the industry, it serves no purpose for us to destroy each other from within. We need to stick together.
Another sweetheart whom I met and friend of August, Jessa Rhodes really put her money where her mouth is in support of August. Jessa has refused to work with Wicked Pictures any longer for future shoots. This was because of Wicked Pictures Jessica Drake (contract girl) and Axel Braun (director) for their part in bullying August. Wicked Pictures boss Brad Armstrong is Jessica Drake's real life partner so Wicked was not going to do anything about the bullying.
What impressed me is that Jessa Rhodes is a high end talent so she's walking away from money by going after Wicked Pictures publicly saying she won't work with the studio any longer. That takes guts and courage for Jessa to stand up to a big studio because they failed August.
I knew I liked Jessa for a reason when I met her now I know why, seeing her stand up for August in this manner was amazing and if anything, I hope she gets booked more by other studios. This is the kind of girl we would want representing our industry, not scumbags like Chechik, Granger or Lee Brazil.
