Her family believes that if the land is turned over the black south africans without a lifetime of experience in farming, knowledge of modern techniques, and no vested interest in the land that has just been handed to them, that basically food production in South Africa will fail.

With the ensuing sharp rise in food prices, because of the high costs of importing all of South Africa's staples, that the society will quickly fall into chaos, and that the already very high crime levels will grow to almost anarchistic proportions. They are trying to figure out some kind of plans to get their families out of South Africa, if this goes through.

P.S. Indians in South Africa also suffered through Apartheid, and the lands that were granted to them in the 1880s were also taken away by the white government in the 1940s, but even so, they predict that if this resolution passes, South Africa will quickly drop from being a modern, 1st world country, into a complete mess within a couple of years.

Just my 2 cents....

.
They did this exercise in Zimbabwe. It was a total disaster. Not because White people are better farmers etc.. For the exact reason you mentioned. There were not enough qualified black people to farm. Everything died, the country is a mess.
