BTW when I mentioned that only 84,000 of Japan soldiers were killed and 800,000 were wounded... that's how a war does look like. I have some basic military education and I know that a wounded enemy is much better than a dead one. The enemy army must evacuate him from the battle field, threat and feed him and he still will not be able to fight. Just take out his hand or a foot and he is totally useless as a fighter. He will be a live reminder to others who says: "don't go to war with that country".
That's why the modern soldiers are being trained to hurt, but not to kill.
