I would tread lightly on recording and uploading performances no matter what some one at the sponsor told you.

I have not heard of any cam site that actually allows an affiliate to do this.

If you search around you will find many stories about people losing their sites or at least their earnings over this exact issue, not to mention the constant stream of DMCA notices from cam girls that can occur.

This is the poor-mans copyright which you are speaking of. If someone wants to take it to court it needs to be registered otherwise its just "he-say-she-say" and anyone can own the copyright.

Cam girls use sites like MANYCAMS.com which stream on multiple sites at once. Does that mean all of those sites own the copyright since they all had the live video at once? Nope, this is the poor-mans way which has no benefits.
