After the lengthy peacetime expansion of the 1980s, inflation began to increase and the Federal Reserve responded by raising interest rates from 1986 to 1989. This weakened but did not stop growth, but some combination of the subsequent 1990 oil price shock, the debt accumulation of the 1980s, and growing consumer pessimism combined with the weakened economy to produce a brief recession

Fucking Moron!

Whenever someone goes to the personal attacks - "Fucking moron!" - I instantly lose respect for them. I may make comments about gun owners, Trump supporters etc in general but I never personally attack someone. And it's not that I can't take it. LOL I live in Manhattan and eat people like you for lunch everyday. There's no way anyone is ever going to beat me in an attitude war.
So I will forgive you for your conveniently forgetting the economic slowdown that began in
1987 and instead focusing on the Bush one in 1990. Heaven forbid anyone tarnishes the memory of God King Reagan.
