Actually no, I'm not agreeing with you.
Paul Markham's original post says it's harder to shoot porn now. In your post located
here you complain about super high-end production requirements as the only way to produce content.
I would argue that today it is easier than ever. Nudity and Porn is alot more acceptable than it was only a few years ago. The cost of good hardware has dropped like crazy. You can shoot high resolution photos and videos for a tenth of the cost as it was in 2008. You have all kinds of powerful editing tools at your fingertips now. Even better, you have instant distribution, instant access to marketing, instant ability to charge your customers for the content.

I used to, but I got bored and quite honestly was even a little uncomfortable with it. I sold that part of my business a long time ago to concentrate on the technology side of things because that is what I really like, allowed me to work from home and spare the commute, etc.

Wow, are you ever bitter!
Sorry dude but I'm not going to hold your hand if you're having a bad day. What I will tell you though, is that you are absolutely surrounded by opportunity. You have the talent, the models, the hardware, software and the industry community *right in front of you*. Everyone else here is taking advantage of this except you.
PS I'm still waiting to meet up with you for some top shelf whiskey.
Cheers.
