When you have politicians, the media, giant corporations, law enforcement, and the military constantly riling up the population with constant, neverending 'threats' THIS is the kind of population you get. Filled with paranoid insecure, freaked out mentally tweaked individuals who see boogeymen and terrorists and "the enemy" everywhere.
This is, of course, EXACTLY what the above group of people WANT America to be. Why? Drum roll please......
Because they benefit from keeping people riled up, on edge, with easy access to guns. In chaos you can steal. In chaos you can control people. In chaos you can do almost anything you want.
NOTHING will change because those reaping the financial and power benefits from a society such as ours will never let it change. Sad but true.
