Actually, I'd give Trump a slight edge here, and say Nixon might be worse than Trump. Google what was just came out recently about the Vietnam war and Nixon. It's sickening.

Agreed. I don't understand why Ford let him off the hook though.

That's a weird statement, and it has me thinking. I would not call him Liberal at all. At the same time, he is definitely not a republican. All of his bombastic showboating aside, I do not see how a republican voter would ever even consider Trump.

Honest question (Please don't hate me, I just want to know): Do you as a republican, wish that Trump had not become the republican nominee? Maybe you preferred Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio or one of the others?
Don't get me wrong - I know that you like some of the things that Trump has said and done so far. My question is kind of, Did you, a republican, vote for a person who is not a republican?
When I see Trump, I don't see a republican at all. I don't know what I see, but I don't think I see republican.

Lyndon Johnson new about Nixons treachery and could have destroyed his campaign, but he failed to act because they all thought Nixon would not win.
Vietnam would have been over in 68.

You're right about what he did, but wrong about the spread. Nixon won 301 Electoral votes vs 191 against Humphrey in 1968, and 520 to 17 again McGovern in 1972. And yes, Vietnam would have been over in 68 if it weren't for Nixon.
