Bullshit, they make a claim that it costs the economy X amount of dollars just so they can give reason as to why they need to tax and (over) spend.
My life and personal economy would be affected 0% by the shutdown.. The majority of American lives would not be affected. But you keep on being scared into believing it would, that's just what they want.
