Migrants cost money, especially with automation and Globalisation taking jobs.
What Governments should do is list what a migrant cost to live in the new country. Housing, Health, Education, Welfare, Wage compression, Unemployment of citizens, policing, courts, prisons, and more. Including the birth rate because as decent jobs disappear more children are eventually going to be a burden on those with jobs.
Democrats want as many excuses to allow people to stay. 700,000 people have a cost, what level of career will they have to achieve to contribute?
