So Hitler's dentist looks at the teeth and has to remember off the top of his head if they look roughly like Hitler's teeth, all very sketchy, also the dentist might have been in on the whole Hitler escape plan. Stalin wasn't convinced and nor were the FBI, but they decided to allow things to end that way as suicide is a woman's death as they see it, so it makes him look like he had no balls, a coward, his people feeling let down, perfect ending from the allied point of view. Last thing they need is him dying as a hero or even still being alive ready to take back power.
