This is just speculation, but she had battled anorexia and eating disorders for a long time. I won't be shocked if that had something to do with it. Those things can really take a toll on your body.
So sad. The Cranberries are part of the soundtrack of my 20's. Great band and she was, by all accounts, a very good person.
