Aaaaaand Politifact is lying. Let's review:
NEWT GINGRICH
Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich "apparently was assassinated at 4 in the morning, having given WikiLeaks something like 53,000 emails and 17,000 attachments. ... It turns out, it wasn?t the Russians." - Rated as "Pants on fire"
Reality:
EXCLUSIVE: Outrage at Julian Assange for implicating murdered DNC staffer in email leak and offering $20k reward - as the victim's parents accuse Wikileaks founder of ?politicizing this horrible tragedy?
We know Seth Rich worked in IT at the DNC. Having access to the server, it would be easy for someone to use a flash drive to copy the data and hand it off to wikileaks.
Here's the former NSA technical director explaining the data was transferred much too fast to be sent online to "the Russians", meaning it was likely a USB drive:
So it was likely a USB drive, Rich had access, he was pissed that Debbie Shultz & Hillary rigged the primaries, he gets whacked, Assange offers $20K reward for the 1st time ever, and the DNC refused to let the FBI examine their server for any evidence of a hack. But it was "the Russians" because the dems said so.
Wow.
Fred got duped.
JESSE WATTERS
Says John Podesta?s email password was "password." - Rated as "Pants on Fire"
Reality:
Assange says a 14-year-old could have hacked Democratic emails as he reveals John Podesta?s password was 'password'
Assange and wikileaks have never published info that was shown to be false.
Fred got duped.
SEAN HANNITY
"During the (Benghazi) attack, a stand-down order was given, and our troops were told to change their clothes four times." - Rated as "Mostly False"
Reality:
Benghazi Probe Finds Marines' Response Was Slowed by Uniform Changes
From congressional testimony: The Marine commander of the FAST platoon, unnamed in the report, testified that the Marines' orders changed constantly as they waited to depart.
"We were told multiple times to change what we were wearing, to change from cammies into civilian attire, civilian attire into cammies, cammies into civilian attire," he said. -
Fred got duped.
BILL O'REILLY
Says Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland "voted, so the folks know, in Washington, D.C., to keep guns away from private citizens." - Rated as "False" because "He never heard this case"
Reality:
Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland's best-known vote - Business Insider
Because Garland called for a review of the DC Circuit Court's ruling, even though he took no official position on the case, gun-rights advocates have slammed him for favoring gun control. -
Fred got duped.
I could go on, but I'm too busy making money online.
You guys should try it, since you're so bad at this politics stuff.
