I don't hate the West, that's why I still live here, but I do know that the top of the Western system is hugely corrupt, whereas the Russian system is far less corrupt.

Nope, but the fact you are comparing USSR with Russia shows you haven't realized the change which has taken place, you still see Putin as a continuation of USSR, fortunately you are wrong on that. Now it makes sense why you hate Putin's Russia.
