Dear Sir,
APPLICATION FOR AN OIL SERVICE OFFICER
The Department of Petroleum Resources will like to inform you of our need for the services of a Foreign Engineer/Contractor to act as a supervisor for its workers on the newly awarded contract to the organization for the reconstruction/maintenance of the country's oil refineries.
In our search for credible and capable expatriates we made extensive research for individuals who will be able to carry out such functions as the supervision of all our on site staff and officials. We were able to come up with the names of twelve foreigners amongst which your name is one of them.
Remuneration:
The Department is offering to pay the successful applicant a starting basic salary of US$65,000.00 (Sixty Five Thousand United States Dollars) monthly as well as a car and a house to go along. This Salary is subject to review based on the performance on the job of the successful applicant.
As the Secretary to the Honorable Chairman as well as the committee for the hiring of the services of the foreign oil service officer, I was mandated to write out invitation letters to all twelve short listed individuals in order to first of all inquire about their interest in the job and also invite all for a job interview here in Nigeria. However, I will like to let you know that I have personally decided against carry out this directive fully and I am sending you alone this letter due to the fact that I will like for both of us to transact some personal business upon your acceptance to work for our establishment. I shall delay the sending of the other letter in other that you will be given a head start over all others as the job will be given out on a first come first serve basis. Thus you will be the only one that will be available when the time for the interview is due. I will thereafter inform my boss that the other eleven nominated individuals are not interested.
Kindly call me immediately if you are interested on 234-803-3318410 or send a fax to 234-1-759-9623. Also respond by email to:
Best Regards,
Frank Okon
