Homegrown Video was around before all of them.
Ed Powers as a sales guy at an adult company was inspired by Homegrown Video to start making his "Bus Stop Tales".
Sweetloads was originated by my brother who spec'ed a deal with SEG to produce a POV series for our Xplor Media lines.
"Gonzo porn", which really is simulated reality xxx, was probably originated with "Buttman" Stagliano, though some would say Jaime Gillis did it first when he did a "pick up" series or that
amateur porn was born when Ugly George hit the streets of New York City with a camera in the late seventies and early eighties.
In any event, Homegrown Video was the first authentic amateur or reality series and it also was promoting back on the General BBS years and years ago. Carol Cox was doing authentic reality shows on the net before Voyeur Dorm too...
Bang Bus deserves huge props for being great marketers and having a catchy product, but don't overdue it.
